The Campbell Centre, Milton Keynes NHS Hospital
The Client
The Campbell Centre is an NHS hospital which occupies a 60-hectare site south of the centre of Milton Keynes. The hospital is a 38-bedded acute inpatient unit which provides services for predominately working age adults who require admission when suffering from mental health problems.
The Work
iC2 was appointed to install a 55 camera Avigilon Megapixel CCTV System in March 2013, for the protection of service users and providers.
The Challenges
In order to keep all personnel and patients safe and secure on the site 24 hours a day iC2 had to make sure the system we installed was able to pick up as much detail as possible so any error or concern could be picked up easily.
The system we installed in the Campbell Centre utilises a 10 Terabyte Server, delivering unprecedented high definition megapixel CCTV images throughout the unit. This new system provides the hospital with the image quality it needs to track all persons on site.
The Results
iC2 installed a 55 camera Megapixel CCTV System which helped provide the best protection and security for the patients and team which is made up of nurses, occupational therapists, doctors, pharmacy and domestics.
“I just wanted to thank you and your company for all your hard work in providing our new CCTV system. It was quite a complex installation and your team quickly got to grips with what was required and completed the work in a timely and professional manner. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I’m delighted with the result. Avigilon equipment, whilst not the cheapest, seems very well suited to the task and I’m sure that with your continued support, we will enjoy many years of quality surveillance at the hospital. “
