Established in 1888 and globally recognised, De Beers is the world’s leading diamond company, with ‘unrivalled expertise in the exploration, mining and marketing of diamonds’.
The Work
iC2 was appointed by De Beers’ flagship store in Old Bond Street to encode the store’s existing static and PTZ cameras and upgrade the system onto Avigilon’s lossless compression platform.
Understanding the high value of the products held at the flagship store, iC2 had to ensure all angles and corners of the site were covered.
We strategically planned and placed new cameras throughout the retail suite that provided 360 degree coverage of the store and its premises. By enhancing the system and encoding the existing cameras, iC2 provided De Beers’ flagship store outstanding playback of recording images, identical to the live picture.
iC2 delivered De Beers a cutting edge CCTV system allowing the store to feel confident in its security and easily monitor all activity on the premises .
“Obviously the quality of the cameras both live and playback provides incredible detail to us. We were also particularly impressed with the speed of the installation and the particular attention to detail regarding the aesthetics of the building.
IC2 continue to provide excellent after sales services and perfectly fulfil all our security requirements. We would not hesitate to recommend Ic2 to any organisation looking for a first class CCTV system, with a first class after sales service”
